Internship
Internship at Fearless Horsemanship
An opportunity to experience bitless, leadership-based horse training
Are you studying animal care, agriculture, tourism, or a related field and looking for a meaningful internship in Tyrol?
At Fearless Horsemanship, located in Götzens (near Innsbruck), you won’t find a traditional riding school. Instead, you’ll experience a globally unique, self-developed training system based on natural horse communication, voluntary cooperation, and bitless riding.
Important Note for Applicants
Our methods differ fundamentally and intentionally from classical systems like English riding, conventional groundwork, or dominance-based training.
We work:
-
100% bitless, without conventional equipment
-
Through a leadership model based on natural horse language
-
Without conditioning, force, or mechanical control
-
With full commitment to animal welfare and psychological safety
If you’re only interested in learning traditional techniques, this is not the right internship for you.
If you’re open to new perspectives and want to understand horses on a deep, respectful level — we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Experience
As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with real horse operations and observe how a modern, ethically-driven training system works:
-
Daily horse care (feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming)
-
Assisting in rehabilitation and leadership-based training
-
Preparing and participating in guided trail rides
-
Supporting the creation of handcrafted bitless gear
-
Learning in a structured, respectful, and pressure-free environment
-
Optional: observing tourism and customer interaction
