Yes, we provide helmets and all essential riding equipment. Riders should come dressed appropriately for horseback riding—wearing long pants, sturdy hiking shoes or boots, and weather-appropriate clothing such as a jacket or gloves when necessary.

No, all training is conducted using our experienced Fearless Horses. These horses are already fully trained in bitless riding, ensuring that students can focus entirely on learning to ride rather than managing an untrained horse’s reactions. Our program is designed to help riders develop confidence and leadership while riding a fully prepared, safe, and responsive bitless horse.

This program focuses on what is most effective for real-world trail riding, rather than traditional equestrian techniques.

Many riding schools emphasize posture, a fixed “balanced seat,” and leg aids, but in actual riding situations, these concepts can be impractical. A rider’s position should adapt to the terrain and the horse’s movement, rather than follow a rigid structure. Similarly, the method taught here relies entirely on direct rein communication, eliminating the need for leg cues.

This approach makes riding simpler, easier to learn, and more effective for the types of environments covered in this program, including trail, urban, and night riding.

This is a riding course, not a horse training course. Students will learn how to ride a fully trained bitless horse across different terrains, including trails, mountains, rivers, and even urban environments. The focus is on building confidence, leadership, and riding ability, not on teaching horses how to go bitless.

Riders can continue developing their skills, but not through a traditional lesson structure. Instead of requiring long-term structured coursework, riders continue their training naturally by booking regular trail rides with us.

Because the method allows for immediate independence, progress happens much faster than in a conventional riding school, where students often remain in supervised lessons for extended periods.

This method is designed for trained bitless horses, particularly those accustomed to leadership-based riding. Horses trained with bits, leg aids, or dominance-based methods may require a transition period before adapting to this approach.
